
From Exposition, select Process booth orders, open an order, click More, and select Company Conflicts
Company
Displays the name of the exhibiting company.
Conflicting Companies
Lists companies that conflict with the exhibiting company.
Companies Not Conflicting
Lists companies that do not conflict with the exhibiting company.
Find
Enable to search for companies to add to the Companies Not Conflicting list.
To edit the list of conflicting companies
Before you begin
■ Ensure that display fields for rosters of company records have been defined in the Customer Setup-Advanced window (Customers > Setup Module > General, and click Advanced). Specifically, values must be defined in the Roster Display CompanyFields field. Refer to Customizing Roster Display fields in iMIS Customer Management for more information.
■ Ensure that all booths to be evaluated for company conflicts have been assigned to defined proximity areas. Refer to Managing Proximity Assignments for more information.
■ Ensure that the specific exposition for which you are managing company conflicts is configured to check for company conflicts in the Expo Options window (Exposition > Setup an Exposition, edit the exposition, click More, and choose Options). Specifically, the Company Conflict Checking checkbox must be selected. Refer to Defining Exposition Options for more information.
Procedure
1. Open the Company Conflicts window:
□ From Exposition, select Process booth orders to open the Process booth orders window.
□ Open an order (see Finding Exposition Orders).
□ Click More, and select Company Conflicts.
2. Click Edit.
3. (optional) To add companies to the list of Conflicting Companies, do the following:
□ Enable the Find option to open the Find window.
□ Select a Search Type, and Tab twice to display a list of companies.
□ Select a company, and click OK.
The company is added to the list of Companies Not Conflicting.
□ Double-click the company.
The company is moved to the Conflicting Companies list.
□ Repeat this process for each additional company.
□ Click Save.
4. (optional) To remove companies from the list of Conflicting Companies, do the following:
□ Double-click a company from the Conflicting Companies list.
□ Repeat for each additional company.
□ Click Save.
Note: When you reopen the Company Conflicts window, no companies are listed under the Companies Not Conflicting list because the system returned the record(s) to the data files.
